The AFR Desert GT is the kind of experience you’ll talk about for years. A journey that blends luxury, exotic automobiles, and unforgettable landscapes — from sun-kissed coastlines to the raw beauty of the open desert. This isn’t just a road rally — it’s an escape, an adventure, and a celebration of everything we love about the drive.
We begin in the Desert playground of Palm Springs with an amazing ride to the top of Mt. San Jacinto on the Palm Springs Tramway where we enjoy a scenic dinner and set the tone for what lies ahead. In the morning, we carve our way through the high desert mountains and head towards the iconic Angeles Crest roads as we travel towards downtown Santa Barbara.
The next leg pushes us into another world entirely — the vast, otherworldly expanse of Death Valley. Here, we slow the pace, take in the silence of the desert, and immerse ourselves in a balance of adventure and relaxation in one of the most surreal environments on earth.
When the desert dust settles, the rally takes flight again — this time toward the bright lights of Las Vegas. But before we hit the Strip, we unleash our final burst of adrenaline behind the wheel of trophy trucks at Speed Vegas, ripping through the dirt in a full-throttle off-road experience that perfectly caps the journey.
