AFR Presents - The Midwest Megarun - AFR

Chicago to Destin · April 17–23, 2027 · 1,300 Miles

Big cities, horse country, bourbon, honky-tonks, and white-sand beaches, all connected by some of the best country roads in America. The Midwest Megarun is five days of driving with a crew of people who love cars as much as you do. Like every AFR rally, it’s about the journey.

The Route

Day 0 · Fri, April 17 – Chicago, IL
Arrive and check in downtown. Kick things off with dinner and a bar crawl through the city.
Day 1 · Sat, April 18 – Chicago to Indianapolis, IN
Roll out to the racing capital of the world for a tour of the Indy museum. Downtown Indy stay and dinner.
Day 2 · Sun, April 19 – Indianapolis to Frankfort, KY
Into bluegrass and horse country. Visit a local bourbon distillery, then dinner.
Day 3 · Mon, April 20 – Frankfort to Nashville, TN
Rolling Tennessee roads into Music City. Dinner, then out on Broadway.
Day 4 · Tue, April 21 – Nashville to Birmingham, AL
Southern back roads with a stop at Barber Motorsports museum to a large resort stay and dinner.
Day 5 · Wed, April 22 – Birmingham to Destin, FL
The final run to the Gulf Coast. Beach hotel, reception, final dinner, and awards.
Day 6 · Thu, April 23 – Head Home

Full rally entry for you and your co-driver. Every mile, every stop, and every moment from Chicago to Destin, with the route planned for you.
Six nights of handpicked hotels. Downtown Chicago and Indy, beautiful Frankfort, vibrant Nashville, a resort stay in Birmingham, and a beachfront finish in Destin. No booking, no guesswork.
Dinners for two every night. Great food with great people, from Chicago to the Gulf.
Curated activities and tours. The Indy museum, a Kentucky bourbon distillery, a night on Nashville’s Broadway, the Barber Motorsports Musuem and an awards reception to finish and maybe a surprise or 2 thrown in the middle.
Limited-edition Midwest Megarun swag. Made for this event only. You can’t buy it, you have to drive for it.

$5,000 per car (driver + co-driver)

One price covers two people for six nights, every dinner, every tour, and every mile. No hidden fees, no surprises, just the drive of a lifetime.

I also understand this is NOT a race but a rally. Illegal and aggressive driving will result in the immediate ban from this event. Entrants will be reviewed and approved or denied within 24 hours. Approved entrants will receive an email back with a link to pay via Wire Transfer. Zelle, Apple Cash, or CashApp are accepted as well as Paypal with 3.5% fee added. Payments must be completed within 72 hours to reserve your spot.
